    And to think that those hand tools sold by Harbor Freight retailers, in the US, could have had their early origins from this place.

    Those tracks look like theyre about to fall into the slag pit. I also hope they've stopped using coal for their trains

    a little water spray would create steam that would increase evaporation

      @Steve Rowley . . . the steel mill may have limited resources for water, which is needed for the steam locomotives.

    I wonder are those engines Coal or Oil Burners

    • @bloqk16
      @bloqk16 4 года назад +3

      @Starguard . . . The locomotive looks like it is coal burning, as @12:18 there's a tell-tale sign of a coal pile brimming on the top of the car adjoined the locomotive. And given the vast coal resources in China, I'd doubt they want to use imported oil.

      @@OOpSjm sometimes but the slag bubbles like a weld exposed to impurities creating cavities in the steel the bar that i had looked like a plie of oxy slag inside the cavity. Chinese steel also does not hold its form very well steel section like i beam and channel can vary in their form by up to 11-14% when there is a 1/8" variation in thickness and hight and width it makes joining long sections together end to end very difficult I've seen alot of crap product come from china!

      Slag, it's made up of the impurities that float on top of the molten steel in the furnaces. It's skimmed off before removing the steel itself from the melt furnace.

    It's sad... Coal for transport, coal for metal casting, all made of metal and it's the industry of the world... BTW, coal is the most inefficient and most contaminating source of heat and electricity generation.
